The Trans-Allegheny Trails System is a collection of 13 different picturesque trails in the Allegheny Mountains, including trails along the Main Line Canal Greenway.

The 2011 RTC Rail Trail Sojourn led to the creation of the Trans Allegheny Trails System. Trail builders are now working together to market and connect a mix of level and terrain trails, creating a unique riding experience across bridges and river valleys.
